There is a man I know that is gruff, bold and in spoken word very brash and confrontational.
One day he was driving on a country dirt road close to his home with his wife. As they were driving they saw that a neighbour had driven a tractor into a ditch. There was no end of expletives from the man, statements of judgement and all else that goes with a man trained in the armed forces where actions are drilled into a person in ways perhaps not so healthy for their spirit or psyche. He stopped his little truck and got out and walked down over the hill to where the tractor and its driver were stuck in the ditch.
“What the f..k are you doing driving your tractor into the ditch?” could be heard by his wife from atop the hill in the truck. The cringe from the driver of the tractor could be felt from a distance.
Yet, without another word he assisted the older man get his tractor out of the ditch, making sure that the tractor started properly and that the old man was able to operate before heading back up the hill.
“Be careful” the parting words of the mouthy man who stopped and helped a fellow man in distress.
Sometimes even though rough words are spoken, the actions speak much louder and the light shines through with much brilliance. Here a Divine action from a man who uses words to disguise the generous and helpful divine nature in his soul - a good Samaritan.

It could be said that angels can appear in many forms though perhaps all with the intent to protect, guide and inform.
If all is of ‘One energy’ then would not that inner voice or messaging system be considered an angel whether thought, sound or action?
We can live our lives avoiding harm or directed from harms way this is often remarked as an ‘angel on your shoulder’. There are some schools of thought that suggest we have many angels or guides with us throughout this incarnation, though perhaps we are not always conscious of this energy.
I remember one day my first year of university, a cold wet mid-October afternoon for who on the weekend in university gets up in the morning. Of course I was a ‘bit’ hung over and had just finished lunch and was on my way back to residence. I certainly wasn’t dressed for the weather with short and a T-shirt, the drizzle and wind blowing into my face as I crossed the divided parkway separating the cafeteria from my residence. I was on the crosswalk and had made it to the island between the two streams of 90 km/hr traffic where a light pole made its home.
I heard from over my shoulder, “Hold onto the pole, don’t go any further.”
There was no one around as I looked over my shoulder and heard again, “Hold onto the pole.”
I continued my slow jog across the crosswalk sure that one car in the next two lanes had stopped. I didn’t heed the message and blinded by the drizzle and fog, the voice and desire to be warm, continued on my way.
The next thing I hear was “JUMP!!” again this voice out of nowhere.
A car on the inside lane did not stop and I was directly in its path. I got hit with only the thought of jumping in mind.
The next part was told to me as I have no memory of the events. The guys in residence were in the TV room watching a football game. The windows looked directly out onto the parkway and they said it looked like I flew over the car. Was I hit and the impact sent me flying? Or did I jump? Or was I lifted out of the way? At 90 km/hr would I still be here to right this if something had not intervened.
I was out of classes for 2 weeks and my aunt a nurse took me in, watched over me to ensure that I did not have a concussion. She bathed me and tended to the contusions, I still have a slight scar in the shape of the province in which this happened - a reminder of the encounter. To me my aunt was an angel, yet there was this other message that I did not heed which was a protective entity ‘angel’ if you will that was there trying to guide me away from harm.
Angels have appeared to me in dream as well, is this too just an experience in an alternate reality? Who is to say…the experience provided information and understanding, I can only be grateful.
No matter what name or definition you may give, listen to the messages that you receive whether with your eyes, nose, and ears or just exist inside your head and heart. As it is the instrument of reception that defines perception there is usually one that is more dominant for each of us, hone that which is true to your self on your path to light.

Before any action manifests it is through a thought or idea that the seed of action germinates.
How many times do we go “Oh yes” when we have forgotten where we put something and then proceeded to locate it after much frustration or upon our spritual journey when we have the proverbial light bulb illuminate a subject that we are working with.
Our emotions are thought energies as they begin within the mind and can in turn effect those around us - as simple as a friend that is upset or happy and we ‘feel’ the effect of that emotion. This energy radiates from one to another. Should we think of this energy in the same was as light, then it would continue as does the sun shining in the sky both as particle and wave. The stars that we see emanate light from a radiated energy yet may take millions of years to reach our perception. It would then follow that the energy that we radiate as emotion or thought then these too would follow a similar principle of continuous radiation.
“It is the instrument of reception that defines perception’ so with our eyes we see this light - some ’seeing’ more than others based on ability, then too the ability to ‘feel’ these thoughts or percieve them would also be dependent on other sensory ‘abilities’.
Light penetrates the body in order to produce Vitamin D - 15 minutes of exposure creates 10,000 IU of this vitamin - an effect of the absorption of this energy. Then there is the residual effect of the Vitamin upon the biology of the human system which effects immune function and cellular generation with latest research indicating positive effect upon cancer and autoimmune disorders as well as seasonal affective disorder. Similarly, the residual effect of the thought transference of emotion has its immediate reaction upon us and then the residual ‘feelings’ that are generated from the experience; whether the ‘feeling’ generates a higher vibration of energy or a lowering of vibration depending on the energetic input/output.
My experience with physical objects places little objection that these energies that effect the human form can also have an effect on other physical structures, energy is energy just in various form of perception or compression. Several years ago I was at a local market and was drawn to a native jacket. When I put it on there was an intensity of energy that I had previously never felt from an article of clothing, it was warm and initiated a higher vibration within this self. It was then remarked that this item had been brought down for a native festival by an elder. Much earlier experimentation with using objects as tools to assist ‘readings’ provided other impressions that later turned to be valid. Now one could say at this point was it the speaking of the thought that produced the outcome or was it something other. What is first the chicken or the egg? Was this seed of thought implanted to be later acted upon?
Whether we look at things from a physical perspective or energetic perspective they all have validity or potential. That potential is energy at rest and with the movement of thought - an impulse - to create an action which in turn has form.
The possibilities are dependent upon perceptive states, what affects one has an effect upon another. The exhalation of the breath will be absorbed by plant life and sustain growth, however that same breath can end the physical reality of another life form or add to ‘carbon’ emissions. Too true that this is only within this dimension what effect is sustained upon others like the wings of a butterfly. Yet, somewhere like the plant growing a balance within all dimensions is somehow manifest as it is said ‘all is one’.
All that we experience or think then creates impressions or samskaras or karma through mindfulness we can heighten all.
To all possibilities….A Path to Light
